Welcome to the political party in Alberta that has a clear goal and plan for independence!

Alberta since being legislated into being as a province, has never been treated fairly by Ottawa.  This unfair treatment isn’t by chance, it was by design.  Alberta was created in 1905 by an Act of Parliament by the Ottawa Liberals without consultation with Albertans.  Ottawa’s idea of Alberta’s creation was for it to be a resource colony for the Laurentien elites.  Albertans were looked at then as a province of serf’s for the Ottawa ruling class and in 120 years, nothing has changed.  Those attitudes of the elitists still remain.

It is the mission of The Independence Party of Alberta to lead Alberta forward and make the changes it needs for Albertans to survive and prosper.  Our goal is to create an independent Constitutional Republic, where Albertans prosper, where our hard work stays here at home, where we invest in ourselves, not letting a corrupt government constantly steal our wealth and our futures from us!  We believe in a government that is run by the people and for the people.
