OUR FOUNDATIONAL BELIEFS

 

We are Albertans that believe a free people can only live free if the foundation of their nation is created properly from the onset.  Albertans have never had this opportunity and were brought into the confederation of Canada and still are looked at as a colony of the east.  We have lived with massive taxation without equal representation for 120 years.  The lives and wealth of Albertans has been decreasing with every passing year under all federal governments, no matter the party affiliation. 

 

By supporting The Independence Party, Albertans will have the opportunity to have their voices heard to create the best and one of the wealthiest nation states on the planet.  One where a strong Constitution will limit government powers and guarantee individual rights are protected by a strong Bill of Rights.  How much better off would your family be if you didn't have to pay the Canadian federal income and carbon taxes?  These are just a couple of the changes that would make your lives easier living in an independent Republic of Alberta.

 

HOW WE GET THERE

 

On forming a new government for Alberta, our first steps toward independence is to form a new Ministry of Independence Preparation. This will be the ministry responsible for the creation of an Alberta Constitution that will limit government powers and enhance the rights of citizens with a strong "for the People", Bill of Rights.  This ministry will be responsible for planning and preparing a new form of government, justice system, military, as well as the other national agencies that will be required in a new independent republic.
